`BABLUSHAH` READY

The maker of ‘A Day in the City’ that also bagged a few awards Venkat Bharadwaj dealt with water issue in that film. He is now ready with his second film ‘Bablushah’ a war based film. It dates back to 550 years ago Vijayanagara kingdom. Wrestling is shot in this film. The shoot was held in Malavalli, Mallinathapura, Ramanagara and surroundings for 24 days. Chowka Baara, romantic moments, four songs on Hanuman, 16 artists dance in Madan Harini direction in six and half hours are salient features of this film ‘Bablusha’.


400 persons were interviewed for the team of ‘Bablusah’ but only three were selected. Bijapur theatre artist Harsharjun, Mani Shetty and Sinchana have been picked, Mrudula Bhasker is female lead. Shobaraj, Avinash, Srikanth Heblikar, Shantha Nagendra Swamy are also in the cast.

Sanni Mahadevan music, Akshay P Rao cinematography are in the team of Venkat Bharadwaj. NRI friends of Venkat have invested on this film.


Venkat father veteran CV Shivashanker is official producer. At the audio release Mantri Developers director Snehal Mantri was present at Mantri Mall.


The film is hitting silver screen in June this year.
